Why do i feel warm when i drink the odd drink of alcohol.?


Question:
I take venlafaxine anti-depressants 225mg daily , & lithium 800mg daily. When I have the odd drink of alcohol ( i don't drink often), I feel very warm. Could it be to do with my medication as Alcohol never used to make feel this way before I took I was on this medicine.
