Question:
can you tan if u have a tumor? especially a brain tumor? i have heard that the UV rays dont go past the last layer of your skin..& i know tanning is not good for you either way so dont tell me that, and also i dont have a brain tumor..not that i know of anyways but it still worries me b/c im a hypochrondiac with a bad case of generalized anxiety disorder who think about brain tumors all the time..so im just wondering :]
Answers:
Tanning causes no additional risk if you have a tumor than if you don't have one. I would advise that you use sunscreen, of course.
Yes you can, but tanning is unhealthy in general. It's a body's response to damaging UV. It leads to drying of skin, premature aging and a "stretched leather" look to your face and body.
Devout sun worshippers like that.not attractive.
