Anyone have cures for chronic ADULT bed wetting?

One thing to look at is if it happens always at a certain time. I only suggest this because it happens predictably for me--so I know that its going to happen usually in the first 3 hours of sleep and rarely after that point. Lets say it always happened close to morning, you could wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. Might not be that simple, but it is worth a try. In my case, my kidneys don't slow down until well after I fall asleep, and I sleep very deeply during that period of time, so it always happens during that period. After that, almost never any problems.
The trains thing is funny... I never had any success with alarms either.
There are some decent adult diapers, but you have to take a big mental step to use them... that was a big step for me in my mind because of the self esteem factor. The good side is, zero cleanup. See another doctor too. Depending on how long it has been, you may find that there is something that helps now, that wasn't available before.
Last, check out how many threads there are just on YouQA.com , about this very subject. There are tons, a few already have been asked today. Not an unommon problem, but one a lot of people don't talk about.
how about a pair of depends?
that must suck..keep that man though!
there are adult diapers available now =you don't have to worry about getting the bed wet and it is an easy clean-up in the morning t\for you
You might look into Daytrol which helps control women's overactive bladders and/or get up at 1 am every night to pee. Ask a UROLOGIST if you have not been to one.
If you haven't seen a doctor recently about your problem there may be some newer medications you could try... Which I can't think of the names off the top of my head... You could try sleeping with a Depends on.. Adult diaper or use an adult urine pad.. This may at the very least help in case of accident... You could also try exercising your KEGEL muscles by flexing like you would be controlling a stream of urine... This helps especially after childbirth... Good luck
I know you have to see lots of Doctors to stop bed wetting. But have been to one to see why you are bed wetting there could be a medical/psychological reason you wet the bed. Maybe that is why you have had to dry periods. I bet having children has not helped.
Has to "how to stop you bed wetting" I do not have a clue. My son went to clinics too about his bed wetting. I think you known all about these:-
Cut down on your fluid intake before you go to bed
Go to the toilet before you go to be to empty your bladder
Go to the toilet during the night to empty your bladder
Stop the flow during emptying your bladder, so your body know what it is like to stop. That is not advised any more.
And all the other advice you are given. I was lucky my son stopped bed-wetting. I did not think he would and suddenly almost overnight he did it.
I do wonder if there is another reason for it though. You have a wonderful man keep him.
Do not think I have helped much but good luck in your quest.
