Questions about mole removal?

Question:
Anyone ever had it done? Does insurance cover it? Or how much does it cost?

Answers:
Yes, I had it done by a dermatologist. It was paid for by insurance because I had an HMO then and my primary physician referred me. The dermatologist injected tiny shots of novacaine/numbing solution around the mole and cut it off with a scalpel. I had a few tiny stitches which the doctor removed several days later. It was a very easy procedure, not painful and the healing was uneventful. The scar has faded so much it is barely noticeable.
