A question for recovering addicts...?

Question:
do you think recovering addicts have a very strong sex drive once they get out of their addiction? what were your experiences a few months after rehab?

Answers:
I never went to rehab, however I am a recovering addict. Addicts sometimes feel a hole or "emptiness" in their lives that they used to fill with drugs. Now that they can't, they turn to many different things, both healthy and unhealthy such as food, cigarettes, shopping, exercising and sex. I would suggest a counseling program that teaches why this happens and how to, figuratively, fill the hole up without the use of anything else. There is some knowledge out there that can make an addict feel complete or be prone to use more healthful ways of filling that emptiness.
