What are the guidlines for blood donations? Where can I go for them?

Question:
I am 5'2-1/2" and 110lbs. Am I able to donate blood with my body weight and size. I heard there is weight and size restrictions. Does anyone know what they are?

Answers:
I think 110 lbs. is the minimum - so you're fine.
Height is not an issue.

I donate blood in New York. You can look at their web site www.nybloodcenter.org for general info - but I assume that you would have to call your local hospital or blood donation clinic to get specifics for where you live.
your local health department or hospital should have a site for it
u have to be between 17 and 75 years of age and weigh more than 110lbs. height is never an issue
110 lbs. Contact your local American Red Cross.
