How to be safe in a nightclub ?


Question:
Hey, I'm going to an under 18s nightclub (where no alcoholic drinks are served) and although i have gone a lot before I have very slightly low blood pressure and I want to make sure that by the end of the night I do not feel exhausted or faint.

What are the best ways to keep my blood pressure up ?

To have breaks between dancing ? Keep a drink with me the whole night to avoid dehydration ?

I remember my bulimic friend used to have to take these lucozade 'energy' tablets after she threw up to give herself more energy. Would it be wise to take one of these before going into the nightclub ? What are these, exactly ?

Any help or advice on how to act is greatly appreciated ! Thank you !!

if you are dancing a lot make sure you get lots of water or juice -- its best to aviod sodas with caffiene and corn syrup. other than that you don't have to worry too much. dancing is actually one of the best forms of exercise you can get but remember that while its fun you are also burning energy and reducing water in your body -- so put some back!

lucozade basically just gives you a sugar rush -- its pretty harmless. if you were bulemic the lucozade would settle your stomach slightly by introducing sugars to a stomach you just emptied. if you have ever thrown up you know it doesn't leave you feeling at your best. bulemia is very serious and perhaps you shouldnt accept your friends bulemia so lightly.

i think the most important thing to do is be social i spent years as a club rat and you learn a few things like -- pretend its your party and everyone is your guest and mingle. usually when you pretend you are a host you are very polite and nice and people will remember you as that really nice guy/girl that is super friendly.
I suppose that would work.
Always know where the EXIT is I just missed that hugh fire in NY a few years back because of this. No matter where i go I know where the exits are even on the plane !

Oh yeah! Great advise. Always trust the bulimic friend. She will know what she holds down. Yup sounds like that was the smartest choice you could make other than wasting 5 points asking this question.
If all you need to do is keep your blood pressure high then just take some caffeine tablets like NoDose…you can find a lot of caffeine tablets at like 7-11.
doc told me to keep blood pressure up drink mineral water it's good for you and you really don't need meds or if you start to feel woozy or exhausted you can drink a coke to pep you up
