Whats wrong with me?? It took me a while to feel ready for sex, and now this. Hes my first real bf. How could this happen? was i born like this? im so desperate..

Answers:
Not every woman bleeds when she loses her virginity. It's mostly a myth. It depends on if the hymen tears or not. This is the thin skin on the opening of the vagina. Most womens vaginas just stretch during sex. Some hymens cover all of most of the opening. If this is the case, it will tear or "pop the cherry" during sex. On my first time, I just stretched, but never bled. Not much pain either. It all just depends on what type of hymen you have. Look it up and read about it, then educate your boyfriend. Hope I helped. :-)
some people are not born with hymen
He must've been really... really...really small. Wow. And I thought my ex was bad...
Hymen also stretches and can break on its own from exercise, stretching, etc...
Hey, you do know what the hymen is, right? Thin membrane partially covering the opening to the vagina. Google it for more information. It's entirely possible you tore or stretched your hymen before you had sex. This is pretty common, especially nowadays, and especially if women wait longer to have sex as well. Have you ever used a tampon, masturbated, done sport? That could have done it. I broke my hymen bike-riding as a young teen, long before sex. So that means when you do have sex there's no pain, bleeding or "pop". And, some women and the accompanying men are different sizes, which also makes a difference. Not everybody has pain or bleeds; in fact if you don't it might even mean you were properly lubricated and he went slowly, which is good. I have heard some people are born "like that" (without a hymen) too, although I don't know if it's true.

Regardless, your boyfriend if he likes you, shouldn't care if you're a virgin or not; nor should it be something for you to worry about. Please read up on your anatomy, there is nothing wrong with you.

If you and your boyfriend don't know these things, I'm not sure you should be having sex, by the way. Maybe you should both check out a few books and web sites so you know about things like this. Try the wikipedia entries on hymen and virginity, and also the-clitoris.com
Losing you virginity is really having your hymen broken. But your hymen can be torn from previous events like hitting a bicycle handle or playing sports.

Really losing your virginity is when you first have intercourse.
he is small and went a Little too gentle
Ok, not being a virgin anymore only constitutes you having intercourse for the first time. The traditional "popping" of the cherry is different for everyone. The "cherry" is your hymen, a thin membrane that sits inside your vagina and breaks during the first penetration. But everyone's is different, and maybe yours was very small or non existant. Or if he or someone else or yourself at some time stuck their fingers or anything else in you, it could have been broken then. Or you could have streched it out when you were younger by self play, or doing gymnastics, or in karate (splits and high kicks) or horseback riding.
So tell him to get over it, you were a virgin, no matter if you bleed or not. And now your not!

But if he still keeps on bugging about it, tell him that maybe he was too small to have really pop anything. That will shut him up!
