Why does one blush when get shy ?

Question:
anybody can help ?

Answers:
Medically, i dont know.

thats just like normal.
like an innocent shy look. is blushing
To cut a long story sort, Its because we are embarrased in whatever way, causing you to sweat and boil up (going red)
I don´t know... That happens to me everytime I get shy and I can´t do something about it.
I guess that´s because the blood gets up to your face
mostly because they are embarrassed,
like : if a boy talks to girl and the girl really likes the boy i think in that case its more the do with being Nerves ...
heart beats faster... as it pushes blood to our face .. we feel helpless so the instinct to keep alive makes our heart beat fast .. xx as you know feeling embarressed makes us just want to DIE lol xx
We blush when we get shy, or embarrassed mainly because of our nervous system, when that emotion has been triggered, our blood vessels with tiny muscles in our skin dilate and the blood going through is a lot more quantity, than when these muscles were to contract, or squeeze together when there is less flow of blood.

So the more the flow of the blood passing through the skin, the more relaxation of these blood vessel muscles and that's the reason we blush due to amount of blood flow.

The less flow of blood can cause pale skin.
Blushing is something we can't help, its natural and our emotions are the main part of why we blush. Nervousness, embarrassment, anger can cause blushing or more colour in the cheeks.
Why we blush in only our cheeks, im not too sure yet!
Hope that helped!
xx
Blushing is the result of the capillaries beneath the skin widening. As a consequence of this more blood accumulates in this area causing the skin to go red.

Chemically speaking, the widening of the capillaries is caused by a release of adrenalin.

Some people are said to be allergic to their own Adrenalin. This is why in some people they redden in the face. Some people become blotchy in the neck and top of their chest.

Dr William Bird, medical advisor to the British Heart Foundation, says blushing is thought to be linked to evolution – a non-verbal demonstration of our emotions.

However, in people with the chronic blushing – called erythrophobia – some experts believe that an overactive sympathetic nervous system is the underlying cause of the problem. Research suggests that this system of nerves, over which we have no control, goes into overdrive and stimulates the capillaries to widen at times when they wouldn’t normally.

As you get older blushing reduces.
