Are these really bad addictions?
Question:
Answers:
Definitely. Try to ween yourself off these activities little by little. I'd say you're in the clear with your TV addiction, 2 hours a day is a typical amount. But I would really stress limiting your yahoo time. 6 hours a day is much too much!
I'm not sure about better past times but perhaps you could gradually exchange those activities for physical and social ones like you said you are lacking.
YouQA.com is fun and helpful but don't let it take over your life!
Good luck!
If you're asking you must think there's a problem with your current behavior.
Well, there are varying degrees of addiction, so I think the last answer was kinda unmerited. Anyways, I think that you at least benefit from those addictions. You gain more knowledge of the world around you, and that's a really valuable thing. So those addictions aren't as bad as others. Just try to set out time to get some exercise and you'll be great.
I think it's good that you spend time finding out what is going on in the world around you and learning about current affairs but the amount of time you spend doing it is probably a little bit excessive. If you continue to do these things at such great lengths of times you may find yourself becoming a bit reclusive and if you sit at the computer for long lengths of time with no break you may develop poor posture. However, if you spend your time on Y!A on your computer at work then that's probably not so bad ;-)
I'm guessing you dont work? I mean thats up to yu. Sure you could get out and go shopping, read a book, but its all the same. they are all just hobbies. Seems like a matter of personal preference to me. If you have a fam though these are bad habits. You need to spend more time with them- otherwise as long as there is no conflict what you are doing is fine. People will disagree but come on...everyone has thier past times. You are jsut doing what u enjoy.
It sounds like you are either doing research or hiding from your life.
Just asking the question is one step toward changing your life.
By isolating yourself from family, friends, and life experiences, you are preventing your self from growing as a person.
You will become depressed, afraid, and not a happy person if you continue.
