Why do you go 'blind' when you stand up quickly?


Question:
I'm not shure if that happens to me only. But if I spend a long time sitting or lying on a same spot and then stand up quickly, I go blind for a few seconds before my sight gets used to the place.

Its your blood pressure stablizing ,not a problem if you dont have high blood pressure it happens to me alot,maybe you need to have your bp checked better safe than sorry
I used to have that problem when i was younger.. Don't do it now but there was once when it happened to me for like a minute. I was told it was because i drank too much.
all of your blood rushes downward. gravity.
dehydration can cause this. you need to drink more fluids. Like water
better have your blood pressure checked. could be very serious
that dosent happen to me
and never hase
