Do ADHD pills stunt height growth?

Question:
well do they?? i had them for about 2 months when i was 12 years old, back then, i had hard tim sleeping. since i took ADHD pills, i havent grown, im 15 now. i was 5f 8 before i took ADHD pills, and now im still 5f 8. i cried after i heard someone sayin that. because i wouldve been taller if i didnt take that stupid pill.

Answers:
Yes and no. Studies have shown that for some people growth is slowed while taking medication for ADD or ADHD; however, once the medication is stopped, growth continues and person reaches full height. Those who can't stop the medication due to the severity of their disorder, also reach full height...just at a much slower rate. So, the interference with growth is only temporary.

Now, you are ONLY 15 so you are no where near finished growing yet. A male continues to grow until he is 21.

If you want to know how tall you will be, your best bet is to ask your family doctor or pediatrician. Most doctors will measure a child's femur around the age of 2 and can tell the child's adult height with a great deal of accuracy.

You might want to go here, enter the required info and receive an estimate of how tall you will get to be. Remember, it is only an estimate! It does not take into consideration the rest of the "family tree". It only uses your parents so it is not very accurate.
