Lately my knee swells up when I stand on it or walk around alot?

Question:
It feels like it's full of water when I finally sit down.I can press down on my skin and it seems full. If I bend down, it seems super tight, like the skin is having a hard time stretching over the cap. Any suggestions on what this could be?

No, I haven't ever had any knee injuries.

Answers:
hm... sounds like what happened to me. I never had knee injuries, but I have a floating knee cap. I was diagnosed earlier this year. If you develop pain in your knee, go to the doctors. Also, to check if you do have a floating knee cap, straighten and relax you leg. DO NOT tighten any muscles. next, see if you can push your knee cap over to the side (just the patella, nothing else). If you can move your pattella alot, that may mean you have Pattella tracking disorder. I would seriously advise that you ice, compress, relax and check in with your doctor.
Sounds like you should see a doctor. It doesn't sound to good. Best of luck.
