3 Year old speech?
Question:
Normally when he asks for a juice he asks "Me want a juice".
But now its "Me Me Me Me Me Me Me Me want a a juice".
He has had a tummy bug last week and is maybe a little over tired. Do you think this will pass or should we be worried?
An opinions please?
Thanks

My 6 year old son has had a stammer since he began talking so i know how worrying this is! i think it something that some children go through as they are learning more words and saying more words in a sentance as they are having to think about it more. I nephew is 3 and he also developed a stammer all of sudden even though his speech has been great since a toddler. If it continues then take him to visit his gp and they will advise. My son had to attend speech theropy but it didnt help the situation infact it made it worse. I have come to terms with the fact that it is part of him tho as times it can be extremly fustrating!
Kudos for being an attentive parent!
He's probably just overtired, but keep tabs on his speech behavior. If he starts to lose words or shows other signs of backward development, take him to his pediatrician.
I'd keep an eye on him for any other symptoms and take him to his pediatrician if he doesn't perk up in a day or two. Kids usually bounce right back from the run of the mill stuff. Better to be safe than sorry.
It never hurts to get a second opinion, take him to see your GP, if there is something to worry about they will point you in the right direction, if not then at least you will know for certain.
My brother had suddenly started stuttering when he was younger too and it eventually went away. If it goes on for a while take him to the doctor, it may be something with his ears.
when we don understand we say " reincarnation of some ancestors in us"Think for a better answer?
