Question:
I have a prescription that says use before June-07 and I'm not done with it. Do these pills actually expire? I assume they don't... and if they don't why do they say use them before a certain date?
Answers:
Pills change chemistry after awhile-- so yes they do expire.Usually you can use them up to 60 days after the expiration date but then I would toss them as they lose potency and may take on toxic effects, depending on the medication.
