I have cut way back on clonzapam but still shaking in the morning when I get up. What do I do?

I've taken clonazepam and never experienced shaking but it is considered a side effect. I would say work with the dosage and see if that helps. Maybe you lowered your dose too much? Or maybe you're taking more than you need? I know clonazepam tends to build up in your system and that might be what's causing your shaking. I can't say for sure of course because people react differently to medications. I'd say to ask your doc. Maybe there's another medication that you can take? If your doc isn't helpful try looking on-line for info, especially forums where people write about their personal experiences with medications. I know I'm not being very helpful but only a physician/counselor can really say for sure what's going on.
