What does a pediaorthopedic do?

my daughter got like a bone fracture on her shoulder but the x-ray result is not showing any signs of it. even her pediatrician who requested for the x-ray said why can't it be seen in the results when it was physically visible. he then refer us to a pediaortho for further assistance...

we have not find one yet and i'm wondering what do they specializes then. any information please...

i'm really worried about my daughter's situation though she is really very well right now.

Can listening to a ringing fire bell damage your hearing?

Answers:
That sounds a bit weired. What do you mean with 'physically visible'? I don't suppose the bone was sticking out, because then the X-ray could not possibly have been normal.
If a fracture is very fresh and the fragments are perfectly aligned (happens with wrist bones sometimes, but not in the shoulder), it may indeed go undetected by X-ray. However, if you another X-ray 2 weeks later, the fracture will show up, because in the cleft old bone tissue is dissolved and replaced with new tissue.
I suspect that there really was no fracture, because I can't imagine that bones in the shoulder would line up perfectly - there are lots of muscles that would pull them apart.
