Why do I have yellow circles under my eyes?

Question:
A friend took a close up photo of me with the flash and in it I look really pale because of the bright light but with yellow circles under my eyes. Does anyone know why this is? Do I have a build up of toxins or is it a sign of lack of sleep or something?

Answers:
If you think that it is really there, then you should go and see a doctor. If you truly see those circles when you look in a mirror, then you may have something. However, if you do not see those circles, then it may just be something with the photo. The flash that was emitted from your friend's camera might just be some reaction that your skin had, or it could be in the coloring of your background.

Honestly, I would not get too worked up over it. It might have just been a reaction to the flash. If the circles really do exist, see a doctor.

Its hereditary.. they say you have extra fatty tissue under your eyes which causes the dark circles or discoloration around your eyes. Believe me, I know i have the same problem. Something you have to live with but there is ways you could help it along the way...cucumbers on the eyes..remedies for dark circles at the store. Are you deprived of your sleep? Something you can answer for yourself ...good luck!
Sounds like you're jaundiced! You ARE eating all your vegetables- aren't you??! If so, and you ARE getting enough sleep, - but you're still feeling kinda tired- you might want to see a Doctor. Jaundice is a sign of Organ failure- & you DON'T want to find out TOO LATE which Organ it is... :(
