As you grow older, what factors lead to less healthy looking skin?

Question:
Look at a baby. Its pure, its innocent, its hair as soft as silk, its skin as radiant as a summer day's sunset, eyes that sparkle like the ocean at a distant horizon, a butt thats as round and shiny as a red apple.

Now look at yourself today, you in your late 20's, your 30's, your40's "EWWWW"

What causes our skin to be less youthful? Is it the sun? Nutrient deficiencies? Just plain aging?

Answers:
Natural aging is bound to occur, but the sun also plays a role.
sun exposure is the #1 factor that leads to aging.
it can b a lot of things especially if u smoke that makes u age a lot faster and it turns ur teeth yellow. also if u eat a lot of unhealthy food(junk food) of course a lot of it can also make u age. and of course just plain aging also helps.
