Hi Maria,...
Confidence grows out of experience. There is no better way to become confident then to take a task in hand and complete it. As surely as you will sometimes fail in your efforts your failures allow you a perfect opportunity to take another stab at it and you will find that your first attempt may not have gone so well but your second try worked out much better. Experience, that's how it's gained. You are young yet and have many years of confusion and uncertainty before you. Worry and fret not over these things as life will sneak up on you and you'll find yourself married holding your child in your arms and wonder "how did l get here"
Life will rudely thrust itself upon you in time, but know by then you will be a fine young woman capable of meeting almost any challenge it places before you. For now? run, play, enjoy your youth. This is a time of a more carefree lifestyle then you will be able to enjoy when life and all it's seriousness intrudes. Don't forget to stop and look up, enjoy the clouds, watch a butterfly, stroke a pet, smell a flower, and never ever be afraid to act silly from time to time, honestly it's ok to be silly.
No! You've got it all wrong missy! You should always want to be yourself. Who cares what people think eh? A great confidence boost is to run more... it'll give you more energy therefore making you feel better. Hang around people you are confident around. Have fun doing things you like to do.
its all about practice
i used to do that a lot too (turning red)
all you gotta do is keep talking to people.i mean the people you want to talk to, its useless talking to people you dont wanna talk to...
also, try to have some embarrassing topics for discussions, again it is to practice your emotion under nervous circumstances
make sure when you talk, you forget about how you present yourself to other, instead focus on having fun in the discussions
if it's not fun, just dont talk about it
hope that helped, good luck
you should start a hobby or sport that you enjoy and are good at! That really helps to boost your confidence. Also I have this thing with BLUSHING alot! I always have, I think it's because mky skin is lighter or something...but I know it sux! The only good news is that alot of guys think it's cute when girls blush! And just know that you are the **** and you will become more and more confident in yourself everyday. Also it helps to be around more positive people!!! Trust me on that. And remember that 13 is a crazy age, so you're gonna feel akward still sometimes, it's totally normal . You will be alright. Just know that you are beautiful and it will shine through. And don't listen to the negative people, no matter who they are! They are wrong, always listen to your self, that's the best advice I can give.
that's a hard thing to do, belive me, i'm 13. i guess you just grow into it. i would get started by emailing people.

feel free to email me.
Oh,qt, don't worry.! Confidence comes with increasing age, you're so young now! I was a very shy girl too when I was you're age , and I felt anywhere in the wrong place...But slowly, without even realizing, it I became more and more confident and now I'm a young woman who tries to help the others to get more confident too...be sure you'll become a wonderful open flower as soon as you're ripe enough.
Kisses
Set yourself small challenges each day do something you would'nt normally do and when you have done it you will feel a huge sense of achievement and grow in confidence that way..also accept yourself for who you are and be proud of yourself..you are only 13 your confidence will grow as you do..I used to lack it but one day I thought i'm me thats never going to change, so go out there as you..don't worry about going red look at bradley on eastenders he still does all the time!!
I am the biggest blusher I know and the funny thing is I have no confidence problems, the more you worry over going red you can guarantee the redder you go.
Why would you want to be anyone else but yourself, everyone has insecurities through life but we are blessed in so many ways, be happy and learn to love yourself.
Maybe you should try joining a club or taking up a hobbie something that will enable you to make new friends, and best of all if you find something you enjoy and your good at it will help to boost your confidence.
Maybe save up through the holidays and go out and spoil yourself a little, by some new nail polishes or whatever it is that your into, feeling good is such a confidence booster.
Also last thing lol before i bore you out, you are 13 and i can guarantee 99% of females especially feel a little unhappy with themselves and have issues like yours when your that age, your growing up and things change and as they are you will learn to become confident and happy in your own skin :o)
Take care
This will sound stupid but get it into your head you are JUST AS GOOD AS ANYONE ELSE! Because you are Hun! Before you go to bed write down all your good points, what your good at, what you like about yourself etc (eg, 'I am caring and kind' 'I have nice green eyes' 'I am good at singing') and remember these things when you feel nervous. Join a new club, you will immediately make new friends and so your confidence will excel (really it will help!). And also, when you feel yourself blushing, think 'OK i am going to blush' not 'oh god! ****! I am gonna blush!' and the more you think it is not a big deal, you will actually stop blushing! It works! Good Luck you sound like a lovely girl, so have the confidence to let people see it! And trust me, there is plenty of life left to make things good! You learn from mistakes. Good Lucky

With more confidence and better presentation skills you will be more successful in the world in general.

As you are only 13 you may perhaps wish to leave this option for a few years but on the other hand there is no time like the present and a lack of confidence is a real handicap in this world.
