What could be medically wrong with me (see below):?

Question:
Three days ago (the day my medical insurance was cut off), I got a violent stomach virus/flu, etc. Since that time, I'm somewhat better--but still feeling ill enough to be drinking weak, sugary tea, warm gingerale and eating dry crackers. Any opinions appreciated.
(I did have a flu shot last November)

Answers:
if it was that bad, it's going to take a bit of time for you to feel better. 3 days isn't really that long for a serious bout of the flu. it could take about a week.
You could have gotten food poisoning. That happened to me 2 years ago and I was in the hospital for a week. Just don't let yourself get dehydrated. As long as your keeping fluids down you should be fine. If this continues I would see a doctor.
You can suffer from the flu for about a week but you need to keep up your strength.

Add some soup broth/consumme to what you are eating and maybe some vanilla yogurt and O.J. if you can handle it.

Feel Better ☺
You may have a temporary stomach virus or a case of food poisoning. After a bout, it will often make you feel weak for several days. I'm sure you will feel better soon. "Flu shots" only prevent the respiratory type - not the maladies that affect only the stomach.
A flu shot only works on some people...per a doctor...do you still have your gallbladder? That makes people sick when they are not functioning like they are suppose to. It is better out than in if that is your problem.
Sometimes it's just a case of a light stomach flu, it depends what you ate. I strongly recommend some good lemon tea.
