Antibotic question?

okay i was told on tue i had a uti infection.i was given keflex
i could only take maybe 3 .then i went to ER today and they took urine sample and said no infection.Do you think it is really gone when the other doctor wanted me to take a weeks supply .?since i only got maybe 3 down in 5 days?

Answers:
There is very possibly some surviving bacteria. If you quit now those left surviving could multiply and become more virulent or stronger and become resistant to the antibiotic. It is very important to ALWAYS finish a course of antibiotics unless your Dr. instructs you to do otherwise.
i dont think so you should still take the balance ... when ever a person or persons take antibodic it is necessary that they take all of it ... because it wont work...
It would take about a week or two before it is even gone.
