Sounds like you are allergic to alcohol. Some people are.
Perhaps you are drinking too much at a time. If one or two standard drinks makes you feel unwell then you must be allergic to alcohol and you might just have to accept that and adjust your lifestyle accordingly.
its possible, my older brother is. whenever he drinks he starts to break out into hives and he has trouble breathing. some people just react differently when they're allergic to things.
doubt it. strictly speaking, alcohol is a poison in the first place, in the sense that it makes you sick and too much will kill you. if your younger with not much alcohol experience (especially w/ vodka) this all sounds normal. why not stay clear anyway? trust me, you've better things to do with your time.
I used to work with someone who was allergic to alcohol. I'm not sure what her symptoms were, but I do know it was serious. Maybe you should get tested for allergies!
Of course it's possible. One out of every ten people is allergic to alcohol. It's called alcoholism. When I go to a restaurant and they put alcohol in the sauce, on the B**s*** theory that it cooks off (it doesn't, according to the American Heart Association Cookbook), I get so sick, I projectile vomit and lose control of my bladder and bowels. It ain't pretty, but it's usually the last time they tell a customer a lie about ingredients...
You might want to call your local Alcoholics Anonymous for more information about the cunning, baffling, powerful and patient aspects of this all-too-common genetic disease. You are in my prayers, cause you're in for a hell of a challenge. If they don't get help, five out of six alcoholics die from their disease, or the side effects thereof. Side effects such as alcohol poisoning, bullet wounds, AIDS (from being too drunk to remember to insist on a condom-it happened to my baby brother!) Scalp indentations and laceration, from when you flirt with the wrong person's spouse and they beat you to death with an axe handle (that's what happened to my great granddad). On the other hand, you might get lucky and die peacefully in your sleep like my grandfather, not screaming like the people in his car.(No joke, it took Granny almost 20 years to pay the debts incurred, because after his 10th drunk driving ticket, Grandpa couldn't get insurance.) As you might have gathered, there are a lot of alcoholics in my family. If you don't get help with your alcoholism, you may just disappear, like my Uncle Gus. Your children could turn out like Uncle Gus (he was a sociopath, with ADHD and mental retardation). Your children could also graduate to drug addiction, like my sister did, and wind up taking everything of value our mother ever had and selling it for drugs. My sister also had a baby who died of SIDS and a husband who died in a drunk driving accident. Her oldest daughter is mentally challenged, has ADHD and markers of endoplasmic dwarfism, like our Uncle, and like me.
Please get help. Also, please don't have children with another alcoholic or a drug addict. This disease is genetic. You give it to your kids, who pass it on down the line, bringing you years and years of heartbreak and remorse.

I can't even have medications with Alcahol in them. We found out that im allergic to it when i had an athmas attack and they gave me liquid prednizone, which has a high alcahol content in it, that im allergic, My throat closed up and I coouldn't breath, I got real sick too
