17 yr old with wrist and joint problems from cracking knuckles?
Question:
I'm starting to get pains in the bones of my hands and wrists, and when I walk, I can heard cracking in my ankles as I walk. And I notice when I try to stop with my bad habits, it actually hurts more and the joints get stiff. I'm worried this might affect my career and prevent my from being able to play music.
Are these early signs of arthritus or another serious condition?
And what can I do to reverse this?
Answers:
The noise you hear when cracking knuckles is a bit of gas exploding ( escaping under pressure ). When you run with your head against a brick wall you get a headache, stop doing it. It will go away. Most people did it when they were young.
I don't care for doctors, but they are good at some things. You could have a doctor check you out.
For me, I've been cracking my joints for YEARS (I'm 44) and my joints feel fine. Diet & your lifestyle could be a factor.
