Why do we get cramps while/after running?

Question:
How do i prevent cramps? I get like ten cramps from jogging for like 5 minutes.

Answers:
Because if you eat or drink water then it is in your stomach. So all you have to do is try not to eat or take any drinks before you start doing any kind of jogging. And if you still get them then while your running just taking very deep breaths and inhale exhale and do that until it stops. What I do whenever I have cramps I just hold my breath. I breath in all the air i can and hold it and until i need more air i breath out. If it still continues for every time you run I would go to the doctors.
Dehydration is the main culprit. Also if you don't take extra potassium in your daily diet that would cause cramping.
ask your doctor.
well you get cramps because ther isnt enough oxygen getting to that specific part of your body.
focus on your breathing, take very deep slow breaths
if they get unbearable, stop and either sit down and put your hands on your head and take long deep breaths or you can stand and do the same
make sure to eat a balanced diet the day you run
hope this helps =]
