Wow - I would say the person has bigger problems. Okay - if a chicken's head is cut off his body goes on for up to thirty seconds. So why not - I guess a person could see. Wikipedia says:
Decapitation is always (see head transplant) fatal, as brain death occurs within seconds to minutes without the support of the organism's body. There is no way to provide life support for a severed head with current medical techniques, although, in 1987, an American patent was granted for a device designed to provide "physical and biochemical support for an animal's head which has been "discorporated" (i.e., severed from its body)." [1]
Yea for a short time
yes the human head is still alive after being cut up for up to 10 seconds
Well they say you still see for a few seconds after your head is off your body because your brain is still working, but no one will ever truly know since the people who could tell you are dead.
If they can , it would be measured in milliseconds. Death would be almost instantaneous.
I think the person who has it down to them maybe dead but I don't know as it's never happened to me thank god
Yes for a REALLY short time. The optical nerves are still attached to the brain, therefore until the brain goes dead you can. But this is debated whether or not it is conscious sight or Vice-Versa.
Im sure they do momentarily before they blackout(die) but im no expert on decapitation.
look i have idea in this case . the person can see and hear and talk too after his head cut off .
look to any one scream and his eyes moving for 3 or 4 sec. after his head cut off
Good question which may not have a proof positive answer, but I heard that when someone was beheaded the brain still has activity for several minutes before it goes offline, so to speak. If that's the case then one can only assume that your site still is functional for that period of time. Hm mm. interesting huh?
