You're ears can get infected if you dont't clean your earrings at first..but even if you've had your ears pierced for a while they can still get infected.. i got ym ears pierced when I was 5 and then like 8 years later one hole got infected..Just clean it a couple times a day with peroxide or rubbing alcohol..it might sting a little but..no pain, no gain, lol...hope I could help. ☺☻

yeah, sometimes mine gets sort of like that. what i do is just clean it out with water/peroxide, and don't put earings in for a couple days, and it clears right up.
you can get an infection, but if you clean your ear regularly, it should be fine.
It sounds infected and probably unrelated to the original piercing. You need to clean everything thoroughly. Give your earrings a short break so this can heal up. Wash it, clean it with alcohol, and let it air dry, without earrings.
Cleanse all your earrings too.
Let them close up and heal. It's not that important.

Mines got infected after 4 months that I got it. I clean it 2 a day and turned it 2 a day for a month. One day in April a bump was in the back of my ear and was bleeding a little. My dad had to get it out with pliers. I notices the crusty/bloody stuff you said around the ear ring. I did`nt go to the doctors. What I did was clean it with the stuff they give you and it went away in a few weeks. After I let the hole close up. What happen was my earring was not gold but that fake stuff. Its been a year and 3 months now and nothing has happen to me since. So I really think if it is a problem is to call your doctor and to make sure you clean it and get really gold for your ears. Remember were all different when it comes to ears and don`t panicky. Also in the back off the stuff they give up try to read what it said because you might need to see a doctor.
