What's the quickest and most effective way of getting rid of a bad cough/cold before a singing concert?!?

Most coughs are viral and there is little you can do to alter their duration. Plenty of fluids, paracetamol for fever is about all you can do. I am assuming of course that you are a non smoker.
It the couch persists, of you become breathless, wheezy or otherwise unwell, you should be examined by a doctor.
a cup of hot coffee 1 lemon 3 tylenol no sugar
A cold or flu will run its cause whatever you do I'm afraid but to make you feel a little better in yourself for the concert you could try having a really hot bath.plenty of steam.put some vapour in a bowl at the same time and breath it in...while in the bath...
When you get out the bath drink some honey and lemon and take two paracetamol. When you go to the concert take a vapour rub with you and place some on a tissue keep sniffing this through the night. You can always rub some on your chest but depends who you want to know you've got a cold.
the best vapour rub I know is albas oil...hope you feel better soon..all in all enjoy the concert you'll probably feel better when your there...nothing cures a cold like I said but you'll probably forget how poorly you feel when your bopping away anyway at least for a few hours....enjoy!!
I always take lemsips, cough medicine and a throat spray ,helps me.
i know echinaecea tincture in water is brilliant and is very fast working but i dont think its that fast ...could give it a try i guess!some paracetamol or equivalent will help with the aches and body temp.
bowl of steaming water and towel over ur head with eucalyptus oil / vicks vapo[or i found this really good stuff callled olbas oil...strong but well good!] in the water will clear ur "dose"! and then a spoonful of good manuka honey will help soothe and heal ur throat...also i used strepsils throat spray and that helps a lot...all the best..let me kno how it goes!
Scrub the concert trying to sing whilst your throat is not in good health could do it longer term damage.
