Is it better to use Vitamins[especially E] orally or apply to the skin directly?
Question:
Thanks for answering.
Answers:
Vitamin E specifically can absorb through the skin and is GREAT for skin health. If you take a 400 IU softgel of vitamin E, poke a hole in the side of it (CAREFULLY), spread the oil on your skin, and rub it in like any massage oil. Make sure you use about an equal amount on each area, as you should only do this once a day.
Vitamin E is a GREAT skin health item, and softgels of vitamin E have a MUCH greater potency of vitamin E than a cream would. Just make sure you aren't taking a supplemental vitamin E at the same time, as vitamin E can build up in your system.
As far as OTHER vitamins, most other vitamins are best absorbed when taken orally.
Um? I've been using vitamin E for years on my skin to improve old scars and things, it worked for me. I know it helps with cell regeneration
I take 400iu of E everyday orally, it seems to help
I put Vitamin E oil on my skin, and it helped reduce the appearence of scars over time. Plus, you absorb Vitamin D from the sun through your skin..
Directly to the skin
absolutely false. if that weren't true, there wouldn't even be options for coall natural products to apply to skin & hair vs commercial products which contain petroleum & chemicals, horribly bad for the skin - BECAUSE it's absorbed & can make your blood toxic.
You can do it either way but yes it does get absorbed through the skin and also works WONDERS on scars when in oil form.I would know from personal experience!
I had a freak accident in high school where I got a car door closed on my face as I was getting out & it left a HUGE gash in the bridge of my nose that was bleeding profusely. I had to have the wound closed up by souchers (small but strong gauze strips that pull & hold a wound closed - alternative to stitches when they're not necessary) & when I got them off I had a nasty & VERY noticeable scar. My doctor suggested I buy vitamin e oil from the store & rub it into the scar every day...and apply sunscreen too of course. After doing that for about a year you almost couldn't see it anymore & to this day you can't unless I mention it & you get like 2 inches from my face. lol.
