How do I get the stuffy feeling out of my ears?

Question:
Doc prescribed me Nascort, but it will give me panic attacks for sure. If I hold my nose and blow, my ears will pop and then I can flex them and they are clear for a bit, but it doesn't last. What can I do?

Answers:
Do you have a good all-natural health food store near you? I would go speak to someone there that can advise on different non-narcotic products.
Well, you could always HOLD your breathe and try swallowing. It should help a little.. other than that ask your doctor to give you some medication that can clear up the water behind the ears. I have used it before and it works, just can remember the name of the medication.

hmm this is a toughy
Don't pop your ears; it sounds like you have fluid stuck behind your eardrums, and if that's the case, you'll be putting undue pressure on your eardrums and they could rupture. If your medicine is giving you panic attacks, ask your doctor about an alternative to it. You've probably got the stuffy feeling from a cold or allergies, so try to treat the underlying cause, and it should go away.
