What light foods can i eat that will settle my stomach? Also what to drink? NO ACID?

Well, you can do better than that. Ginger Root, Peppermint Oil, and Aloe Vera are the best natural stomach soothers.
Most people I talk to say that their stomach calms down within minutes of taking any of those. Aloe Vera is the one that most people tell me they prefer for speed because it's available in a liquid form and doesn't taste as bad as the others that are available in a liquid. The people that like a lot of mint might prefer Peppermint Oil (it's too minty for some people).
Bread normally soaks the acid up.
eat plain yougurt...it's not great but will help! Also drink sprite.
Grilled cheese is not a light food. You need to stick to crackers and broth and jello. Once you tolerate that then increase your diet to scrambled eggs and toast etc. For drink water and 7-up or ginger ale.
go for curd.. it will be light and easily digestable.. and also will help you to recover soon
I usually dont eat nothin and just drink milk. But if i had to eat its prolly be fruit or vegtable and yogurt is good too. I also get the offbrand heartburn pills take about 3 of em hour before i eat. I get crazy heartburn, have for awhile and this is what works best for me.
ANd Bread nor grilled cheese ever help me.. jsut makes it worse in a few hours or so
AAND if its just upset stomach, eat couple those pills or pepto and ddrink some pepsi. pepsi nmakes my heart burn worse but settles my stomach everytime. Peace from the pro of stomach problems and ulcers.
