Why are most people Right-handed?

because usually they are thought to write like this in school and they get used to it

It has to do with the natural dominance of the left hemisphere of the brain - making the right hand of that person stronger and more efficient.
This is why it is said that left handed people are more eccentric than right handed people.
In the early teaching days ( pre 40's) it was considered a sign of simple mindedness to be left handed because it was against the norm. Unfortunately this narrow minded opinion was adopted in the education field and not until later scientific and psychological studies were made and this idea was was proved inconclusive did it become nationally recognized that it was indeed possible for people to be "naturally" left handed with no inclination to learning capacity status.
Unfortunately some old school teachers still try to force right handed practices in writing, etc.
I was brought up in the early seventies and was forced to write with my right hand which resulted in me being ambidextrous, which comes handy with multi tasking

There are people who start out left-handed but it has been trained out of them. Because it used to be thought of as wrong. But now day it should not be happening.
