Question:
I currently take 25mg of trazodone, a sedative antidepressent that helps me sleep. 25 mg is the lowest possible dose, and it is suggested that patients gradually increase by 50 mg. The average dose is 175 - 300 mg. I take 25mg. Is it alright if I, just 4 1 night, one time only, take the whole pill, for a total of 50mg, which is the size of the lowest pill thye make. Will it cause dmage? Increse for side effects?

You really need to discuss this with your physician. The decision would be determined on your other medications, your medical history and how long you've been on your current dose.
