Question:
I had a moderate stomach ache this morning (which included waking up once an hour for 4-5 hours to use the restroom). Needless to say all I ate was ritz crackers and one applesauce about a half hour ago. (Plus I drank some water but not enough). Well, I have two options what to eat now. Would it be better to have some Healthy Choice chicken soup (even if one serving has 3 grams of fiber, and ill probably eat both servings), or would I be better off with top ramen. i just figured since my stools were loose i may not want to eat the soup tonight (wait for tomorrow) since it has all the fiber. so would it be better to have the chicken flavored top ramen instead?
Answers:
I'd go with the soup. Eat lots of crackers. Saltines, if you have them. Toast and tea. You'll feel better tomorrow. If you get hungry later, eat the top ramen. You'll be fine. If you are still sick tomorrow call your doctor. :)
things that help me are crackers or toast and alot of gingerale
Plain white bread with creamy peanut butter. Always works for me and my kids!
Neither. The best way to balance an upset stomach is to boil some white rice with a little bit too much water and no salt (watery rice). I know it doesn't sound appealing at all but the white substance the rice has lines up the stomach and will help you feel better in no time.
Plain old saltine crackers and sprite never fails to settle my stomach...unless something is seriously wrong with me! Try it.good luck, and I hope you feel better soon!!
i boil 1/3 cup of rice in a quart of water until soft, i drink a little water and eat a little rice until i feel better, you could add a pinch of salt or sugar . Chamomille tea is great.
