I currently take 25mg of trazodone, a sedative antidepressent that helps me sleep. 25 mg is the lowest possible dose, and it is suggested that patients gradually increase by 50 mg. The average dose is 175 - 300 mg. I take 25mg. Is it alright if I, just 4 1 night, one time only, take the whole pill, for a total of 50mg, which is the size of the lowest pill thye make. Will it cause dmage? Increse for side effects?

You need to discuss dosage with your health care provider. I took Trazodone for years and tinkered with the dosage. I varied it from 50 mg to 200 mg. It depended on how I felt. Trazodone is a relatively safe drug. But you still need to discuss it with your doctor.
