Why not find a park or someplace pretty near where you live, and go out for a walk? That way if you're concerned about eating too much, you can feel good in two ways -- from taking the walk itself, and from burning some of the extra calories you might take in if you end up snacking later.
Rent some dvd's go out shopping watch tv look @ some old movies or something that will keep ur mind off eating.
