Is pumping gas dangerous to your health?

Question:

My son recently got a job pumping gas and his Mom thinks it will cause brain damage. What are the health risks?

Answers:
No it isnt... his mom is 'concerned' but simply wrong.

If it did cause brain damage...the whole planet would be 'seriously' stupid.

NOw if he starts sniffing the gas aroma and drinking the gas, thats a different story.

Basically there are no health risks for your son in this case..
Safety issues maybe..but thats different question.

You see the rules they have printed by the pump Right...

Static Sparks are bad so ground yourself before you pump
and no one says you have to stand right there to put it in the tank...that's why they have that clip/holder thing on the handle
set it and move away...
