I do the same thing! For me, it's a comfort thing.
haha thats quite unique actually.
it makes you feel secure.
because when you're lying on a bed it curves your spinal cord, making for an uncomfortable night's sleep. when there's something between your legs, it forces your whole body to straighten out, decreasing the pressure put on your knees and back. a lot of people sleep like this. i know i do. it's just more comfortable.
Back alignment, youre back is slightly curved when your legs are together, putting a pillow between your knees makes it a lil more straight and relieves some pressure. Thus helping you sleep, its a common thing. I know a lot of people that do it.
to some people, pillow lessens the feelings of insecurities ans putting it between the legs while going to sleep assures the individual a sound sleep.
Obviously this is going to be only theories. First, it helps align your back. My husband told me their high school football trainer told them for back pain to lie against the back of the sofa or against a wall with a pillow between their knees. So, that tells me that raising the one leg up slightly helps with your back. My other theory is that you just might not like your legs against each other. It might be uncomfortable for you and the pillow keeps them from rubbing.
Hii !...Genrly any human tenders to feel comforting and soothing when something soft touches our body and makes us feel close...And u might have got habituated to this and are unable to sleep without ur pillow..Hope am right upto some extent...
It helps to level your hips and keep your back in better alignment, so you are more comfortable that way.
Have you ever watched those commercials for those memory foam beds or whatever they are that show how the body is more aligned when you're in a certain position? When your body is on it's side and you put a pillow between your legs, you're actually straightening your back and putting much less strain on your spine. Nothing to worry about, especially if it helps you fall asleep that way, it must be working for your body :)
I do the whole masturb... thing before I can get a good night sleep.
A while back I had MANY guilty feelings about this habit of mine, but I realize now that it is a comfort thing.
I like to be loved, and that is a way to find love for my self.
Never let guilt consume you about this.
It's OK
