Does anyone else do this? Or do you think it's disgusting?

Yes, i have this habit since i was little, i used to do it all the time, it was so routinely pleasurable it was like an addiction. It gives a .comforting sort of feeling i suppose. I don't do it much at all now that i'm older, but i'm sure i've just adopted another nuance for comfort.
I know a couple of people who had the same habit as a child, and occasionally allow themselves to fall back into the mannerism. In fact, while this probably sounds creepy, think about it makes me want to give in to the inclination right now. It's weird, i know. But not weird enough that you're alone in the 'picking' boat.
Just like some kids suck their tongue, and some chew on things, or some have a 'blanky', it's all the same.

Yes, I used to do that when I was little child., I stopped because, either my mother or grandmother told me if I continue doing that, I will unravel my bellybutton and I will fall apart and become undone.

I do that too. I love to pick at it. Or my other fav thing is look in between the folds and get a ll the dirt and lint out. I can entertain myself for hours by picking at my body or just looking at one thing.
