You need to see a doctor.
You might not need surgery, he might be able to "rubber band" it and it will go away on its own.
Use Preparation-H, take frequent hot soaks in a bathtub (the hotter the water, the better the relief). Use a stool softener for a while. EAT small meals, don't overload your digestive system, and eat lots of leafy greens and fiber. DON'T strain when going to the bathroom. Take it slow and don't force.
If you have an episode of swelling, stay off your feet as much as possible.
you should talk to your doctor to confirm the problem and cause. . They can be removed by surgery if they are very bad or persistant. Otherwise there are creams that will shrink them.
The link below is basic info about the condition.
You can try soaking your bottom the tub filled with very hot water and "Epsom Salt" which can be found at most Drug stores. Do this at least 2 times a day. You need to have a good diet with high fiber in it. If you need to buy fiber tablets do so. This will keep your stool soft and you won't have to strain thus aggravating the roids. You state that they are not bad, so try this and if they get worse or stay the same, you should see your primary Dr. as this can get serious and very painful.
Good Luck... ;)
