I am a man with itchy nipples, had creams from the doc but they don't really help.?

Question:
They are really tender at times & difficult to scratch, a cold wet flannel helps to sooth, theres no flakiness & no discharge.
What is the cause & solution?

Answers:
I've had the same problem in the past. Been advised by Doc to change detergents/soap etc - tried everything and they diagnosed exczema, scabies, psoriasis, allergy. There were a few creams which soothed but never stopped the itching until I was prescribed a cream called fucibet. It done the trick almost immediately after months of torture. If you've had the symptoms more than a week go immediately to your GP. I kept putting it off thinking I had nothing more than itchy nipple syndrome but when they crack and bleed it's horrible and keeps you up for hours at night.

Hope this helps.
sounds like allergies. Maybe it's your laundry detergent? Check out my Doc. he'll talk to you on the phone and he's awesome.

do you itch anywhere else, try gold bond, either lotion,powder-
or cream, very good for itchy places.also try a different laundry
soap.
Could you be pregnant?

By the way, i had severe eczema on my ankle for years which would keep me awake all night. I would scratch it until it bled and then it would scab over and then crack and the cycle would continue.

I went on a sunbed just 3 times, 2 years ago and the eczema cleared up completely and it hasnt itched since. Not even a tickle.
