I have been suffering from alcoholism for quite some time now. It has come to the point that I have already chased a lot of my friends away. My bestfriend and I had a really huge fight last week and it made me realize how much I've changed. I know I might not be able to gain back all the people I've lost, but I'm ready to let go of my addiction now. I don't want to be dependent upon alcohol forever. How will I get to find treatment centers? Thanks.

It's really great that you now want to get yourself treated. It's sad that you have driven your friends away, so be thankful for the ones who stuck by you. You should get yourself assessed by a doctor. He will be able to tell you what kind of treatment program will be right for you, as well as which treatment centers will be able to provide you with this kind of program.
