Headaches paralyzing my face?

Question:
ive been wearing contacts for a four months now, and the last two months i've almost had daily headaches.[but didnt have any signs the two months before that.]there painful and are always on oneside of my head.i think they are starting to paralyze that side, because it feels tense to smile.I dont know what this is.I am 12, and had a sports physical today, but my doctor didnt seem to pay any attention to it, since i had only written it on my sign in form, and he didnt ask me about headaches in person.what could this be?i wear contacts, but im pretty sure its not from that.

Answers:
well since you brought up the contacts you are worried that it might be from the contacts. I recommend that you stop wearing the contacts for a while to see if the headaches disappear, it not, then i recommend taking some OTC medication like tylenol and aspirin
Just to let you know, there still is a chance that it might be from the contacts
I really really suggest you talk to ur mom and then go see a doctor about it...

this may be your problem
this is one of the rarer headaches there are also stress, migrane andhormonal headaches to consider
go with your private doctor to get checked up cause they might be signs of a stroke
Any time that you have pain, it's a warning sign. It is not normal to have a headache for any prolonged amount of time. Have you told your Mom about this? My advice would be first to tell your parents, then talk to your Dr. and make sure he listens to you. Also let them know that it's always on one side of your head.
Hope you feel better soon.
