Should the CEO of Whole Foods Inc. be banned from Yahoo?

Question:
Turns out he was bad mouthing his competition in a Yahoo! chat room for years under a pseudonym, even while his own company was attempting a buyout.

"I sincerely apologize to all Whole Foods Market stakeholders for my error in judgment in anonymously participating on online financial message boards," Mackey said in a statement on Tuesday. "I am very sorry and I ask our stakeholders to please forgive me."

Or should he just be fired from his day job?

Answers:
Unfortunately, this happens ALL THE TIME. The difference is, he was foolish enough to be so obvious about it.

In the information age, misinformation and deception are powerful tools to force public opinion.

The news media does it all the time!
Firing yes and maybe even jail since his actions were clearly intended to manipulate the stock price.

And then he was evidently spamming in favor of his company's own products by badmouthing those of the competition, then yes he should be banned from Yahoo, thats a clear case of repreated violations of the TOS that have nailed me for a LOT less.
wow, isnt whole foods the one with the solar panels using solar power seriously tho? so no, free speach issues
