I dont smoke anymore. But a lot of reasons motivated me to, like anxiety, anger, fun, etc.
I don't smoke.
It's really bad for your health.
just for relaxation.
I don't smoke but I know why smokers smoke. Nicotine actually have no major play in the process, if not nicorette would have worked.
1. Environment/surrounding
2. Friends who smoke
3. The feeling of carbon monoxide and dioxide in the brain that forces the brain to relax because of lack of oxygen. The brain works every second, every puff slows it down and therefore the person feels relax.
4. Tar and corresponding carcinogens actually make the lungs "high" because it acts as a genome alterer.
5. Irritants divert the attention of the brain from daily stresses and change the stress onto the lungs and blood, so making the brain relax and the body suffer.
So smoking is solely dependent on the brain, the mindset of the smoker. It is not an addiction but its the relying of the diversion of the stress of the mind.
So thats why government keeps on telling people to exercise to relieve stress. Because at the end of the day, its the "high" from the toxins that keep the stress at bay. But by exertion, you will feel a healthy high!
Thats what people must see to let them quit smoking.
