Yea,he will be very dumb but your friend will live
As long as that is all he does and he doesn't drive after yes pot has never killed anyone.
it depends. it could mess up his brain, and he can act kind of retarded..i know someone who started young, and is in his 30s and is really really dumb now...and the only drug he does everday is mj!
its not addictive, but he tobacco he smokes with it is mentally addctive, plus the cannabis kills brain cells, causes paranoia, bad memory etc... he will be okay though, but different maybe, you should really get him to ateast cut down xx
I can't sum all of this up for you, so here's a page on wikipedia about health problems from cannabis (marijuana):

Hope it was helpful and that your friend leads a long, happy life.
I have friends who smoke pot, not daily, and they are fucked up. I'd keep an eye on him, have you tried talking to him? Telling him you are conserned? He should listen, if he's a true friend. Though, smoking can and will change his veiws upon people who tell him otherwise. My friend, Vlad, smokes, and he absolutely loves it. He thinks is NOT harmful, and its 'yummy.' Bleh, to him, It might be yummy, but its probably not.. I've never done it, so I wouldn't know. But, I'd keep and eye on him, and probably contact his parents, or a Dr. for more information. I'd get him some help, if it continues.
Depends. If he continues to use it as he gets old his lungs will give way to bombarding cancer cells due to the tar buildup thats probably excessively already built up in his pipe. Tell him to look at that crap and say that its the same crap thats staying in his lungs.
Not to mention that each time he does it, it break up the synapses in his brain which cause the slow reaction and the funny tingling feeling he gets all over his body. The bad part is that once the effect goes away, some of these synapses stay seperated and will gradually make it difficult for him to recall things on a short term basis causing him to retain any information he recieves therefore decreasing his overall IQ.
Yes there are longterm effects.
