Has anyone ever died from doing whippets? Or huffing the laughing gas stuff?

I read a news story once where a couple of teenagers stole 2 tanks of nitrous oxide from a dentist's office.
Instead of using a balloon the kid put his lips directly on a valve and opened it up. Of course, his lungs froze and he died.

im sure they have. huffing cuts off oxygen to the brain which may result in death. stick to a drug that wont kill ya for awhile like weed

what happens is that people get air bubbles in their lungs and those air bubbles go into the brain and cause a deadly seizure that causes almost immediate death. someone could take a shot or heroine or anything, and die the first time taking it! never do anything like that!
Yes...and I also personally know someone that had a very hard time coming out of gas at the dentist's office, too.
