Question about wart removal.?

Question:
I have a wart on the side of my cheek.what would be the best way to remove that? Are the OTC medicines safe to use? And which one would give me the best results?

Answers:
Compound W Freeze Off works great. It is painful and may take more than one application but it works.
This worked for me and does not mean it will work for you. I had a wart and I scratched the tip of it off and then rubbed salt into the wound. I used a lot of salt, about a spoon full. Yeah it burns but the wart did not come back.
Again, let me say it worked for me but may not work for everyone.
i had 3-4 warts in my hand .i used this ointment called duo film it started peeling the skin and finally the warts dissapeared ...its written on the pack that it cant be applied on the genital area ...so i guess the face might be safe for it...
its quite inexpensive.

there are other treatments such as cryotherapy in which they make the ward extremely cold by using some device and then it comes off.not sure of it.,...but sounds expensive.

my doc also tol me that if you give it time it goes by itself as it is due a weak immune system,,,as your immune systems gets stronger it vanishes. warts are caused due to human papiloma virus.
