ARE YOU HONESTLY AFRAID OF THE DARK IF so WHY OR WHY NOT?

I'm not keen on absolute darkness, which we rarely get anyway (what with light pollution). I did go through a period when I had to sleep with the light on because I was afraid of the dark.but that was due to being burgled and after a few months I went back to sleeping with the light off.
i love the dark when it is quite so peaceful i like to sit in my garden on my bench and have my last drink of the night and take in the fresh air and look at the sky.
