Try a Yahoo search for "green tea" + "health benefits".
I drank it every morning - drinking it at dinner would = caffine. Which may not be a problem for you but I avoid all stimulants. Might be wise to only drink green tea's in the morning/uncaffinated green teas in the evening.
Less of a appetite, ability to think better... weight loss, feel better. Etc. All around tho its more about when/how and what kind of tea you drink rather than the tea itself. People who take green tea pills get all of the above but they don't get the emotional states that go along with drinking it/taking the time to enjoy and watch the sun come up. Its calming in a sense and the smell can brighten up the day a little quicker.
Anyways, I'm going nutty so night.
There has been a lot of interest in recent years in green tea and it's health benefits. The thing that is said to make it so healthy is the anti-oxidant ECGC, which it contains in high quantaties. There is much clinical evidance that it works well to prevent many different types of cancer. Because it has high concentrations of fluoride, it is also good for teeth.
It's great that you're drinking green tea after meals. Recently, green tea has also become associated with weight-loss, and can help with the breakdown of glucose, especially after a meal.
